Boarding

Nearly half of our children choose to experience the advantages of boarding life. Pinewood offers flexi, weekly and a fortnightly boarding option for both boys and girls of 8 upwards. Evening activities abound after 6.30pm and following cereal at 8.00pm there is a staggered bedtime according to age.

The Headmaster and his wife run the boarding along with a team of nurses, matrons, boarding staff and assistant housemistresses.

On Saturday after games the boarders have free time.  In the evening they are taken out for a meal locally and return to watch a film until bedtime.  On Sunday, following a lie in, a Boarders' Outing takes place (mountain biking, swimming, trips to the Cinema) and all return for a Sunday roast with the Headmaster, his wife and resident staff that evening.
