Congratulations to Olympia Olympitis who won her first ever race in the Pinewood sponsored pony races at the Lockinge Point to Point on Easter Monday.

Pinewood has traditionally sponsored the pony races at the Lockinge Point to Point and it was a real thrill that one of our own riders won the 7 furlong race for ponies up to a height of 138cms, cheered on by many of her Pinewood friends. 

It was with particular delight that Olympia's mother, Emily Olympitis, handed out the race prizes on behalf of the school.

This was Olympia's first pony race and she was riding her first pony, Holly, who is an unbelievable 19 years old.  She will be racing again at Wincanton racecourse in May and we wish her the very best of luck.
