Fees & Bursaries
Private education is not just for the privileged. It is for any child whose parents believe in giving their offspring the best start in life. Ability to pay is no barrier. Pinewood can offer a 100% means tested reduction in fees to any child, particularly those who show real ability in a particular area (music, sport, art, academics, etc). In addition, we can also help secure an extended education beyond Year 8 at a linked senior school. Please contact our Bursar and Registrar for more information.

We operate the County Council’s Nursery Education Funding Scheme, please contact the School for more details. The School also accepts Employer Child Care Vouchers as payment for Early Years School Fees, Morning Crèche, Ladybirds After School Club and Boarding Supplements (please click on the link below for more details).
There are no compulsory extras except for the following one-off charges when a child enters the Prep School: £10 for a Hymn Book; £30 for Match Kit, for use throughout the Prep School. A replacement cost will be incurred if these items are lost.The School Yearbook, The Blue & Grey, is an optional annual charge of £10/year during a child’s time at Pinewood. The Blue & Grey is then sent free of charge for the five years after your child has left the school. If you do not wish to receive The Blue & Grey, please write to the School Office.
