Fees & Bursaries
Private education is not just for the privileged. It is for any child whose parents believe in giving their offspring the best start in life. Pinewood can offer a child up to 100% means tested Bursaries and in particular to those who show aptitude in a certain area. In addition we can help to secure funding beyond Year 8 with a linked senior school. Deadline for applications is the December of an academic year before a child is due to start at the school, and decisions are made by the end of the Spring Term. Please contact the Registrar or Bursar for more details or for a copy of our Bursary Policy.
Pinewood’s fees are fully inclusive of all activities, trips, visits and equipment. There are the the following one-off charges when the child enters the Prep school: £18 for a Hymn book and an annual charge of £12 for the school magazine, The Blue & Grey, which is optional. If you do not wish to receive it, please notify the school in writing.
Optional paid activities (e.g. Ballet), individual music tuition and Pinewood Adventure are billed separately. Pinewood Adventure is part subsidised by the school.
