Harvest Thanks

Harvest Gifts 1.jpg

We would like to say a very big thank you to all the Pinewood Community who kindly donated harvest gifts for the older citizens of Bourton and the Salvation Army at Gorse Hill in Swindon.  They were much appreciated and well received by the recipients.

Equally we were pleased by the attendance at our various Harvest Services.  The church in Bourton looked fantastic and the singing, poems and other contributions clearly sent out a good message. Particular thanks to the Rev Richard Hancock, one of the Shrivenham ministers and Fergus Llewellyn, Housemaster at Cheltenham College, who both spoke on the meaning of this time of year.

In addition we must not forget the pupils and parents from school – the Taylors and Carter-Brennans who helped out on Sunday afternoon with the distribution.
