As part of their History topic this term, Year 5 had an exciting, informative day at Windsor Castle.
"I loved Windsor Castle. My favourite things were the Guards playing music and the Chinese tourists taking pictures of us! I liked going into St George’s Chapel and knowing that Queen Elizabeth I haunted the library and that King Henry VIII pulled his sick leg along the ground. I liked having lunch because I was hungry and I was very interested in Queen Mary’s dolls house. I can’t believe that the dolls had cars and real fur clothes and the dolls house was huge. It even had electricity and a wine cellar! Sadly, at the end of the day, we got on the bus and left."
