We are now taking bookings for stalls at our enormously popular and successful Christmas Fair.
The Pinewood Christmas Fair is one of the highlights of the school year. It has a wide, well-received reputation with loyal support from Old Pinewoodian’s, current parents and visitors from the local community and further afield. Each year the Fair supports a local charity chosen by the “Friends of Pinewood”, 10% of your day’s takings will help these more than worthy causes.
Some finer details!
For those that have not been before, the school doors are open from 7.30. The Year 8 children will be happy to help you unload you cars and show you to your table. The tables are located in 5 rooms which are central to the heart of the school. Every visitor to the fair is given a programme of events including a map.
Please be aware that it is a normal school day, so parking could be a little tricky. We ask that all stall holders are set up by 10.15am, ready for a 10.30 start and the event finishes at 2.30pm.
It is important that you let me know if you need access to electricity. I also need to know if you tend to use more than your allotted space for example shelving or hanging rails, as this can sometimes incur an extra cost. Individual tables are £25 or £50 for two.
The “Friends of Pinewood” run a Bistro in the dining room throughout the Fair, serving tea and coffee free of charge to stall holders. Bacon butties will also be on sale to stall holders from early in the morning and homemade soup (in thermos cups) will be available at lunchtime.
We will provide a black bin bag for each stall and therefore please ask you to take away all personal rubbish as we do not have the capacity to dispose of it here.
At the end of the Fair the Friends of Pinewood treasurer will collect your 10% of takings donation to our chosen charity.
