We would like to say a very big thank you to all the Pinewood Community who kindly donated harvest gifts for Swindon Foodbank and the older citizens of Bourton. They were much appreciated and well received by the recipients and supporters of the Foodbank.
Equally, we were pleased by the attendance at our various Harvest services. The church in Bourton looked fantastic and the singing, poems and other contributions clearly sent out a good message. Particular thanks to the Reverend Richard Hancock, one of the Shrivenham ministers and Mrs Rebecca Tear, Headmistress at Badminton School, Bristol, who both spoke on the meaning of this time of year. In addition, we must not forget the pupils from school who helped out on Saturday afternoon with the distribution.
