With a new course to race the children were raring to go on a wonderful winter’s afternoon – the conditions were perfect. The event is a highlight of the school calendar, with every runner counting towards the overall results. Our PE/Games focus this term is “How to target PBs in Health Related Exercise (HRE) tasks?”  Having reviewed all the results it is clear that a number of children achieved their PB – well done! To those who feel they could have moved up the field a touch more – log the experience and push on hard each week in the school’s Pot Lid Lane Time Trial. Thank you to all the marshals and staff runners that provided motivation on the course to the children, and to all the parents dotted around the course. It was great to see nearly 300 children out being active in beautiful surroundings – it may have felt tough at times, but remember that the physical and mental benefits easily surpass these brief moments. Congratulations to all the runners!
