The four houses here at Pinewood are named after places the school has been based throughout the course of its history: Farnborough (yellow), Melchet (green), Motcombe (red) and Postbridge (blue). Siblings will always be in the same house.
The children support their houses with great passion, and inter-house rivalry is rife! Each term the houses compete in a range of inter-house events across all sports, music, general knowledge, chess etc, as well as the infamous 3 Ball Football and 3 ‘n’ Score competitions. The children also compete for the weekly ‘Points Up’ Cup, and the overall winner of all events is awarded the Young House Challenge Cup and a treat day at the end of the Summer Term.
