Head of Art

We are looking to appoint an experienced and imaginative Head of Art to oversee the Art Department and ensure the provision of Art lessons of the highest quality right across the School.

This is a full-time teaching position required to join our successful Prep School for Autumn Term 2021, or potentially earlier in 2021 on agreement between the school and the successful candidate.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching art and working to help pupils develop their artistic skills at all levels.

Salary will be dependent on experience.

Learning Skills Teacher

We are looking to appoint a qualified teacher to provide learning support to pupils from Nursery to Year 8 in both one to one lessons and in group situations.  The Learning Skills teacher will also conduct in-classroom observations and assist classroom teachers in supporting pupils with SEN and EAL.

This is a full-time teaching position required to join our SEN team in the Summer Term 2021.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN.

Salary will be dependent on experience.

Female Gap Students – Summer Term 2021

We are looking to recruit 3 enthusiastic and committed individuals to join us as Gap Students for the Summer Term of 2021.  Our Gappers play a key role within the school, assisting with a wide variety of duties from games and activities to providing classroom support for pupils and working within the boarding house.

As the responsibilities of these roles includes supervising female pupils in the girls’ boarding areas, unfortunately we are only able to accept applications from female candidates for these particular roles.

Residential Gap Students 2022

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed live-in Gap Students for 2022.

We are able to welcome applications from both male and female candidates for these roles as we currently have positions available to work in both the boys’ and girls’ boarding houses.

The roles would be required from January 2022 until the end of term in December 2022.  Our Gappers play a key role within the school, assisting with a wide variety of duties, from games and activities to providing classroom support for pupils, and working within the boarding house. You would only be required to work during term-time and would be free to travel and leave the school during our holiday periods.

Accommodation is provided within the School.

We are able to welcome applications from students outside of the UK, but you must be able to obtain a visa for yourself, to allow you to work in the UK (or be a British passport holder) as the school cannot provide sponsorship visas.
